What these texts are for

From: Call Doctor Service, a medical practice after-hours answering service owned by Greg Martins Oji MD Inc.

To: On-call doctors at medical practices enrolled with Call Doctor Service.

Why: To alert the on-call doctor that a patient requested a callback, and to send the date of birth and callback number so the doctor can return the call without opening the board.

What the business does

Call Doctor Service, owned by Greg Martins Oji MD Inc., provides after-hours telephone answering for U.S. medical practices. A caller leaves structured details and a short recording. We notify the on-call physician so the practice can return the call. We do not text patients. We do not run marketing, promotional, affiliate, or lead-generation campaigns.

SMS consent is not required to use the service

A practice can request service, pay, accept Terms / Privacy / BAA, and go live without anyone agreeing to receive texts. Clinicians can sign in to the on-call board, listen to recordings, and call patients back without SMS. Listing a mobile number on the request form is for voice (live connect or the call bridge) only, unless the person also checks the optional SMS box next to that number. That box is unchecked by default and is not required to submit or pay. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Who receives SMS

Only on-call physicians and covering clinicians who opted in to Call Doctor Service account-notification texts with an optional, unchecked checkbox on https://calldoctorservice.com/register or on this page. Patients who dial the after-hours line are not SMS subscribers.

How you get the service without texts

Opt-in is voluntary and is not required to purchase Call Doctor Service, create an account, or use the after-hours answering line or on-call board. Consent is not a condition of purchase. A practice administrator can request service at https://calldoctorservice.com/register, pay, and accept the required Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and BAA. Those required checkboxes do not enroll anyone in SMS. Clinicians sign in at https://calldoctorservice.com/login and use the on-call board without receiving texts. They can skip this page entirely.

How you opt in

First-time opt-in uses an optional checkbox that is unchecked by default. The person may leave it unchecked and still request service, pay, create an account, and use the on-call board. Consent is not a condition of purchase. After STOP, they may text START, YES, or UNSTOP to the same number to resubscribe. We do not use verbal IVR opt-in, QR codes, or paper forms for first-time consent.

Opt-in paths (every method we use)

We use only the following opt-in methods for first-time consent. We do not use QR codes or in-store paper forms. After someone has opted out, they may text START, YES, or UNSTOP to the same number to resubscribe; that is a re-opt-in, not the original enrollment.

Method 1 — request form (optional box, not required to pay)

At https://calldoctorservice.com/register the administrator enters practice details and pays. Required checkboxes are only Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and BAA. Those do not enroll anyone in SMS. Next to the administrator mobile number and each clinician mobile number is a separate SMS checkbox that is unchecked by default and labeled optional. The form can be submitted and paid with every SMS box left unchecked. Disclosures on those boxes: message frequency varies (1 to 4 messages per after-hours case); message and data rates may apply; reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel; consent is not a condition of purchase; Privacy Policy https://calldoctorservice.com/privacy-policy; Terms https://calldoctorservice.com/terms.

Method 2 — this public page

The form below is public (no login). The clinician enters their name and mobile number and may check a box that is unchecked by default and labeled as optional. They can use Call Doctor Service without submitting this form. The form includes the same disclosures as Method 1.

Optional: opt in to Call Doctor Service texts

This form is optional. Skip it if you only want the on-call board and voice calls. Use the board without SMS.

For on-call physicians and covering clinicians only. Patients should not use this form. Completing this form is not required to purchase or use Call Doctor Service.

Or skip this form. Use the on-call board without text alerts. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of using Call Doctor Service.

Disclosures shown at opt-in

By providing your mobile number and affirmative consent, you agree to receive automated account-notification text messages from Call Doctor Service about after-hours cases for your practice.

Message frequency varies. You may receive 1 to 4 messages per after-hours case.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel.
