Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of Call Doctor Service at https://calldoctorservice.com: the after-hours answering line, physician on-call board, call bridge, and related account-notification SMS. The brand that provides the service and sends SMS is Call Doctor Service. These are operational terms, not legal advice.
Using the website or creating an account means you agree to these Terms for the software and answering service. It does not, by itself, enroll you in SMS. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or of using the answering service or on-call board. SMS consent is collected separately, as described in the SMS program section below and at https://calldoctorservice.com/sms-program.

The service
We collect structured after-hours intake (including a short caller recording) and notify the on-call physician. This is answering-service functionality. It is not a triage tool, not clinical decision support, and not emergency dispatch. Callers are told to hang up and dial 911 for life-threatening emergencies.
SMS program terms (account notifications)
Call Doctor Service sends automated informational SMS to opted-in on-call physicians and covering clinicians about after-hours cases (use case: account notifications). We do not operate an affiliate-marketing, lead-generation, or third-party promotional messaging program. We do not send marketing texts to patients or to the public.
Consent is campaign-specific and is not bundled into these Terms. You are not opted in to SMS merely by browsing the site, paying for a practice subscription, or accepting these Terms. You may buy and use the service without consenting to messages. A mobile number is enrolled only after an affirmative opt-in for Call Doctor Service texts: an unchecked-by-default, optional checkbox on https://calldoctorservice.com/register or on https://calldoctorservice.com/sms-program.
Message frequency varies. You may receive 1 to 4 messages per after-hours case (initial alert and reminders). Additional cases while you are on call may generate additional messages.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel and stop further texts from this program until you opt in again.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Accounts
Physician logins are issued by the practice or by Call Doctor Service at the practice’s request. You must keep credentials confidential and use the board only for patients of your practice.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to send marketing, affiliate, or unsolicited texts.
- Do not attempt to access another practice’s cases.
- Do not enable transcription or third-party AI processing of call audio unless the practice has separately contracted for that.
Call bridge
“Call Patient” places a relayed call so the physician’s personal number is not shown to the caller. Twilio call records may be used to confirm that a callback occurred.
No medical advice
Content in recordings and case records is supplied by callers and clinicians. We do not interpret symptoms. Practices remain responsible for clinical judgment, on-call coverage, and meeting after-hours access rules that apply to them.
Availability
We aim for continuous operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted voice, SMS, or website availability. Carrier filtering, device settings, and network conditions can delay or block messages and calls.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for failed SMS delivery by carriers, for a physician’s failure to return a call, or for emergency outcomes. Use 911 for emergencies.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do.
